15 most haunted and horror places in Delhi 2020

The year 2020 has been the most surprising and the most isolating year for our lives. The lockdown and quarantine irritated each one of us due to ‘stay at home’ thing. So here we have come with the places for the people who are super courageous and super braves, people who get excited about the paranormal things. Remember these places in Delhi is not for the people faint-hearted.

  1. Mutiny House

There is believed that many headless British soldier bodies were being buried there and people also say that a spirit of the British soldier is seen asking different to light his cigarette. who knows the mystery but isn’t it spooky.

2. Khooni Darwaza 

The horror story of Khooni Darwaza stated that Hundreds of refugees were murdered at this gate while they were going towards the refugee camp at Purana Qila during the India-Pakistan partition in 1947. This gate has also earned the reputation of being one of the most haunted places in Delhi. Locals believe that the ghosts of those killed here still haunt the area. Some have also claimed that they were attacked, pushed and slapped by a supernatural force. Who knows what is real and if you courageous then go find out.

Time to visit; 10:00 a.m. to 07:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday. It is closed on Sundays.

3. Lothian Cemetery

There are many creepy stories about this place some locals say that and Britisher named Nicolas fell in love with a happily married woman and she rejected Nicolas so Nicolas committed suicide after and till now his spirit is being seen here with his head in his hand.

There is another story also that a young boy is being seen there many times asking for his parents.

The third story comes out that spirits over there fighting for the property of graveyard. Haunted and strange isn’t it.

4. Saffron Bpo, Gurugram

 This bpo has a creepy story of a girl named Ross who was a cheerful girl over there, everyone loved her hard work and also she was an employee of the month many times. Everybody thought that she is just a normal person like everyone but one day she was talking to the someone on the landline and sat in office van very tensed and after she reached her she vanished. After that day nobody saw her and when company enquired about her to her family the family of her told them that she was dead 8 years ago. Haunted, isn’t it?

5. Jamali Kamali ka quila 

Kamali was the beloved wife of Jamali who died first and Jamali build that fort for her to bury her body and after the death of Jamali, the Emporer humanyun buried him next to his wife in that quilt. Locals believed that there is some supernatural force over there. There is strange kind of whisper, laughing and also wind on the neck is also felt by some people. Some people also felt that someone was seeking them behind the pillar but when they got there is nothing. Who knows it’s true or not why don’t you go and check out yourself.

 6. Northern Ridge

Talking about horror places in Delhi, this refreshingly green Northern Ridge, also called the Kamla Nehru Ridge is a really scary place. In the day there is a lot of crowd doing jogging and all but in the night its complete silence and deep darkness. Only those people go inside who call themselves as ghostbusters. There’s a lot of stories from being chased to bloody curdling screams. People also have seen the spirit of the British soldiers who died in India.

7. Feroz Shah Kotla Fort, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg

Built way back in the 14th century, this Tughlaq era citadel has been well-known for its hauntings. There is believed that jinns live here and if you leave any wish letter here at night that wishes will be fulfilled. The jinns here also fall in love and it’s considered that these jinns are attracted to fragrance and long-haired women.

8. Bhuli bhatiyari ka mahal 

This place is also considered as the most haunted place on Delhi and much negative energy is found here. Even police start to send everyone out this place once the clock hits 5:30 pm and close this place by barricade.some experienced that there is a white wall which seen clearly by naked eyes but in photos, nothing is seen.

9. Mg Road

People had a supernatural experience in this haunted place of Delhi, some people have reported that a lady in white saree is seen chasing the cars. It’s said that lady died in a car accident over on the mg road in gurugram.

10. Khooni nadi 

This place is situated in the Rohini and considered as the most haunted place of Delhi. Some people also have named as the Delhi’s version of Bermuda triangle. Many spooky screaming and crying sounds are being heard here. People who have fallen into the river are always found dead even after the water level of this river is very low and shallow.

Location: Khooni Nadi is located in North Delhi’s Rohini district and is easily accessible through Delhi Metro’s Rohini West Station. This river is a small stream surrounded by green vegetation and trees.
